SAPD Officer Struck by Vehicle on Commerce Street in San Antonio

SAPD Officer Injured in San Antonio Pedestrian Accident on Commerce Street

San Antonio, Texas (December 4, 2023) – An SAPD bike officer was injured Sunday morning after being struck by a vehicle in San Antonio, according to the police.

The crash happened around 11:00 a.m., December 3, on East Commerce Street near South St. Mary’s.

Police said the officer with 13 years of service was struck by an eastbound vehicle at the crosswalk.

The officer was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

No other details were provided.

The police are investigating the crash.
