Two Injured, One Seriously, in Lubbock Crash at 34th Street and Indiana Avenue

Lubbock, Texas (May 28, 2022) – Two people were injured, one seriously, following a crash involving two vehicles early Saturday morning at an intersection in Lubbock, according to the Lubbock police.

The major-injury collision was reported at around 2:09 a.m. at the intersection of 34th Street and Indiana Avenue.

Police said two vehicles collided at the intersection under unclear circumstances.

One person sustained major injuries and another had minor injuries.

Both eastbound and westbound lanes of 34th Street between Indiana Avenue and Kenosha Avenue were shut down following the wreck. As of 8:00 a.m., the lanes were reopened back to traffic.

Further details regarding the crash were not immediately provided.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
