Boy, Woman Killed in Car Crash on Lee Road at North Sam Houston Parkway East in Houston

3-Year-Old Boy and 25-Year-Old Woman Killed in Houston Multi-Vehicle Crash on Lee Road at North Sam Houston Parkway East

Houston, Texas (June 11, 2020) – A boy and a woman were killed on Wednesday in a multi-vehicle crash in northeast Houston, according to police.

The fatal crash occurred around noon, on June 10, at the intersection of Lee Road and North Sam Houston Parkway East.

According to investigators, a Buick Park Avenue ran a red light at the intersection and was hit by a tractor-trailer, which was heading northbound on the North Sam Houston Parkway East service road.

The Buick then struck a truck and another car that was parked in front of a gas station.

The Buick driver was taken to the hospital for treatment. 

Two passengers in the Buick, a 25-year-old woman, and a 3-year-old boy, were taken to the hospital where they were pronounced dead. Their names have not been released.

The Houston police are investigating the crash.
