One Hospitalized After Houston Two-Vehicle Crash on Southwest Freeway

Houston, Texas (November 24, 2023) – One person was hospitalized Thursday night following a two-vehicle crash in Houston, according to the police.

The crash happened around 7:30 p.m., November 23, in the 7500 block of Southwest Freeway.

Police said a police vehicle was traveling to an emergency call with its lights and sirens activated. While it was crossing the intersection, it slowed down believing it had cleared all the traffic. As it was proceeding through, it was struck by another vehicle.

The officers sustained minor injuries and a person in the other vehicle was taken to the hospital with chest pain.

The crash remains under investigation.
