2 Injured in Longview Motorcycle Accident on East Loop 281

Longview, Texas (August 14, 2019) – Two people were hospitalized Tuesday afternoon after a traffic accident involving a motorcycle in Longview, according to a local news source.

The crash took place at about 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 13 in the 200 block of East Loop 281.

According to the police, a motorcycle was heading westbound on East Loop 281 when it struck the door of a vehicle, which was making a left turn into Longview high school.

The rider, who was wearing a helmet, was transported to a hospital with unknown injuries.

The driver of the other vehicle was also taken to the hospital.

The names of the patients and their conditions were not immediately disclosed.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
