Motorcyclist Killed in Crash on US 87 in San Angelo

San Angelo, Texas – A motorcyclist was killed on Tuesday in a crash in San Angelo, according to the Texas DPS.

The fatal crash happened on April 9, on US Highway 87 near Brodnax Lane.

DPS said a semi-trailer was traveling northbound on the highway when it began to slow down. A motorcycle was traveling behind the semi-trailer when it failed to slow down and rear-ended the trailer.

The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. Their identity has not been released.

The Texas DPS is investigating the crash.
