One Killed in Lubbock Motorcycle Crash on FM 179

Lubbock, Texas (December 6, 2019) – A motorcyclist was killed in a traffic accident Tuesday night in Lubbock, according to a local news release.

The fatal crash happened around 9:20 p.m., on December 3, on Farm to Market Road 179.

As per the release, a motorcyclist was riding northbound when they collided with a vehicle that was heading southbound.

The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the vehicle was taken to the hospital for treatment.

An investigation is underway.
