Adriana Olivan Killed in El Paso Two-Vehicle Crash on Stanton Street at Missouri Avenue; Antonio Machorro Arrested

El Paso, Texas (February 8, 2023) – According to the police, one person was killed on Sunday in a wrong-way crash in downtown El Paso.

The fatal crash happened on February 5, in the 600 block of N. Stanton Street at Missouri Avenue.

Police said Antonio Machorro, 20, of Denton, and two other passengers were speeding down the wrong way in a 2014 Camaro when they crashed head-on into a northbound 2012 Dodge Journey driven by Adriana Olivan, 41, of Sunland Park, New Mexico.

Both drivers were taken to the hospital where Olivan later died.

Machorro was treated for minor injuries. He was later arrested and charged with intoxicated manslaughter.

The police are investigating the crash.
