One Killed, One Injured in Midland County Crash on FM 1788 near West County Road 160
Midland County, Texas (January 16, 2019) – A person was killed and another was hospitalized Tuesday afternoon following a traffic accident in Midland County, according to a local news source.
The horrific crash happened at an unspecified time Tuesday, January 15 in the 7800 block of F.M. 1788 near West County Road 160.
Authorities said for an unknown reason two 18-wheelers collided on F.M. 1788. One of the 18-wheelers burst into flames after the impact.
One person died in the accident and another was transported to a Lubbock area hospital in an unknown condition. Their names have not been disclosed.
The crash remains under investigation.
