Two Injured in Lubbock Two-Vehicle Crash on Loop 289

Lubbock, Texas (December 19, 2022) – Two people were injured Saturday night in a two-vehicle crash in Lubbock, according to the police.

The crash happened around 11:40 p.m., December 17, in the 2400 block of South Loop 289.

Police said a vehicle was stopped on the side of the Loop when it was struck by another vehicle.

Two people sustained moderate injuries in the crash.

The crash closed Loop 289 from University Avenue to Avenue U.

The police are investigating the crash.
