Woman Killed and Man Injured in Dallas Street Racing Crash on Lake June Road

Dallas, Texas (January 31, 2021) – A woman was killed, and a man was injured Friday evening in a street racing crash in Dallas, according to police.

The deadly crash happened around 6:00 p.m., January 29, on Lake June Road.

Police said Reginal Manning, 27, and Leedarion Lucas, 29, were racing eastbound on Lake June Road when Lucas’ vehicle struck a van driven by a 70-year-old man. 

The driver of the van and his female passenger were taken to the hospital, where the woman later died. Her name has not been released.

The man was listed in critical condition.

Lucas was also taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

Both Lucas and Manning were arrested and booked into jail on charges of racing causing death and racing, causing serious bodily injury.

The police are investigating the crash.
