60-Year-Old Woman Hit, Killed by Car on Westheimer in West Houston

60-Year-Old Woman Killed in West Houston Pedestrian Accident on Westheimer at Briargreen Drive

Houston, Texas (March 10, 2020) – A 60-year-old woman was struck and killed by a vehicle Tuesday morning in west Houston, according to the police.

The deadly accident occurred around 6:30 a.m. in the 14300 block of Westheimer at the intersection of Briargreen Drive.

Police said the woman was crossing the street at a traffic signal when she was hit by a vehicle that had a green light.

The woman was killed in the crash. Her name has not been released.

The driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.

The accident closed the eastbound lanes of Westheimer at Briargreen near Highway 6.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
