2-Year-Old Boy Killed in Midland County Two-Vehicle Crash at Loop 250 and Business 20

Midland County, Texas (January 4, 2023) – According to the Texas DPS, a two-year-old boy was killed last month in a two-vehicle crash in Midland County.

The fatal crash happened on December 17, at the intersection of Loop 250 and Business 20.

DPS said an SUV was stopped at the intersection when it drove through the intersection and was struck by a Honda that was traveling westbound on Business 20.

Both drivers were taken to Midland Memorial Hospital, along with children, all under the age of 10.

One of the children, a two-year-old boy, was later taken to Covenant Medical Center Hospital in Lubbock, where he died. His name has not been released. He was the only one involved in the crash who was not wearing a seatbelt.

The troopers are investigating the crash.
