Two Killed and Five Injured in Helotes Two-Vehicle Crash on Bandera Road and Diamond K Trail

Helotes, Texas (January 4, 2021) – According to police, the parents of two young children were killed in a two-vehicle crash Sunday night in Helotes.

The fatal crash happened around 6:30 p.m., January 3, in the 12000 block of Bandera Road and Diamond K Trail.

Police said a van was carrying a family of six, two parents and four children between the ages of 2 and 16, entered into the path of a pickup truck, resulting in a collision.

The parents were killed in the crash. Their identities have not been released.

The children were taken to University Hospital with minor injuries.

The female driver of the pickup was also taken to University Hospital for treatment.

Investigators said alcohol was not a factor in the crash.

The authorities are investigating the crash.
