Two Killed in Lubbock Motorcycle Crash at 47th Street and Avenue Q

Lubbock, Texas (September 16, 2020) – Two people were killed in a hit-and-run crash Tuesday night in Lubbock, according to police.

The fatal crash happened around 10:13 p.m., September 15, at the intersection of 47th Street and Avenue Q.

Police said a car struck a motorcycle at the intersection.

The two people in the motorcycle were killed in the crash.

The car fled the scene after the crash.

The crash closed the northbound and southbound lanes of Avenue Q.

No other details were provided.

The authorities are investigating the crash.
