Laura Burris Killed in Odessa Two-Vehicle Crash at East Loop 338 and JBS Parkway

Odessa, Texas (December 5, 2019) – A woman was killed in a two-vehicle crash Wednesday afternoon in Northeast Odessa, according to the police.

The fatal crash took place just after 4:30 p.m. on December 4, at the intersection of East Loop 338 and JBS Parkway

Police said Laura Burris, of Andrews, was trying to turn left from JBS Parkway onto East Loop 338 when she failed to yield the right of way and hit by a Dodge Ram.

Burris was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Dodge driver was taken to Medical Center Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
