1 Dies in Van Zandt County Crash on SR 64 at CR 2132
Van Zandt County, Texas (April 13, 2019) – One person was killed Friday night in a two-vehicle crash in Van Zandt County,  according to a local news source.
The deadly accident happened on SR 64 and CR 2132, just east of Interstate 20 toward Canton.
As per the report, a truck and a car were involved in the crash.
The Texas Department of Public Safety said one person was declared dead at the scene. The identity of the victim has not been released pending notification of next of kin.
The road was closed as emergency worked to clear the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
