Jamey Musick Injured in Hit-and-Run on SH 59 near Bowie

Jamey Musick Injured in Bowie Pedestrian Accident on State Highway 59

Bowie, Texas – According to the Texas DPS, a 50-year-old Denton man was injured Wednesday night in a hit-and-run accident just north of Bowie.

The accident happened around 10:31 p.m., December 20, on State Highway 59.

DPS said Jamey Cole Musick was struck by a vehicle and was airlifted to John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth with non-life-threatening injuries. The driver fled the scene after the accident.

An investigation is underway. Anyone with any information about the identity of the driver is asked to send tips to juan.gutierrez@dps.texas.gov or call (254) 413-8786.
