Pedestrian Hit, Killed on Bluff Springs Road in Southeast Austin

One Killed in Southeast Austin Pedestrian Accident on Bluff Springs Road

Austin, Texas (February 7, 2020) – A pedestrian was hit and killed by multiple vehicles early Friday morning in Southeast Austin, according to the police.

The accident happened around 1:30 a.m. in the 6700 block of Bluff Springs Road, just south of William Cannon Drive.

Police said the man was hit by more than one vehicle, but only one driver remained at the scene.

The victim was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries where he later died.

The accident closed both directions of Bluff Springs Road.

The crash remains under investigation.
