Kanard Cannon ID’d as Man Killed in Fort Worth Pedestrian Accident on U.S. 287 near South Riverside Drive
Fort Worth, Texas (January 20, 2019) – The man who was killed in a pedestrian accident early Friday morning on a Fort Worth highway has been identified as Kanard Cannon, 33, according to the Tarrant County Medical examiner.
The deadly accident took place at about 5:15 a.m. January 18, in the 2300 block of U.S. 287 near South Riverside Drive.
Fort Worth police said Cannon was attempting to cross Highway 287 when he was struck a car.
Cannon was declared dead at the scene.
The involved driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
The police are investigating the crash.
