Bradley Lindsey Killed in Wall Two-Vehicle Crash on US 87

Wall, Texas (December 16, 2021) – One person was killed Tuesday morning in a head-on collision, 7 miles east of Wall, according to the Texas DPS.

The fatal crash happened on December 14, on US 87.

DPS said a Ford F-550 with a trailer was traveling northbound and was crossing a bridge while a Chevy 3500 Van was traveling southbound.

For an unknown reason, the Ford left the main travel lane, and its front left wheel rubbed against the concrete barrier.

The Ford continued over the bridge, lost control, and skidded through the median and into on-coming traffic.

The van then crashed head-on into the towed trailer and was pushed into the southbound ditch.

The truck became detached from the towed trailer, rolled over, and came to rest in the southbound ditch.

The towed trailer also came to a rest in the southbound ditch.

The van driver, 55-year-old Bradley Lindsey of Robert Lee, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Ford driver was uninjured in the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.
