Man Hit, Killed by Vehicle on Highway 6 in Harris County

Man Killed in Harris County Pedestrian Accident on Highway 6 at Forest Trails Drive

Harris County, Texas (June 2, 2023) – According to the deputies, a man with an intellectual disability was fatally hit by a vehicle Thursday evening in the Copperfield area of northwest Harris County.

The deadly accident happened just after 5:00 p.m., June 1, on Highway 6 and Forest Trails Drive.

Deputies said the 27-year-old man failed to yield to traffic and was struck by a vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.

The driver stayed at the scene after the accident.

The authorities are conducting the investigation.
