Man Killed in Head-On Crash on East Southcross Boulevard in San Antonio

Man Killed, Another Injured in San Antonio Crash on East Southcross Boulevard

San Antonio, Texas (October 22, 2023) – A head-on collision has claimed the life of a man on Saturday afternoon in San Antonio and left another man injured, according to a report by San Antonio police.

The deadly crash occurred at about 12:15 p.m. Saturday, October 21, on East Southcross Boulevard near WW. White Road.

As per the police report, the man was driving a white Cadillac westbound on East Southcross Boulevard at a high rate of speed when, for unknown reasons, he crossed over the double yellow lines and collided head-on with an eastbound truck.

The driver of the Cadillac, believed to be in his mid to late 20s,  was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the truck, a man believed to be in his mid-60s, was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

No further details about the accident were immediately provided.

The crash remains under investigation.
