Phillip Richard, Sterling Fairchild Killed in Glasscock County Car Accident on State Highway 137

Glasscock County, Texas (April 30, 2019) – Two drivers were killed when their vehicles crossed paths and collided in Glasscock County on Saturday morning.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision took place around 8:23 a.m. April 27, on State Highway 137.
According to the DPS, 28-year-old Sterling Fairchild of Midland, was operating a 2010 Ford F-350 northbound on Highway 137 when, for unknown reasons, he drifted into the southbound side and collided head-on with a 2015 GMC Sierra 2500 driven by 30-year-old Phillip Richard of Converse.
The impact of the crash caused fatal injuries to both Fairchild and Richard. The two were pronounced deceased at the scene. No other injuries were reported.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
