1 Injured in San Antonio Crash at West Commerce Street and North Cibolo Street

San Antonio, TX. - A 24-year-old woman was injured in a head-on collision involving a suspected intoxicated driver on Friday morning in San Antonio.

According to the San Antonio Police Department, the accident occurred near the intersection of West Commerce Street and North Cibolo Street at around 3 a.m.

A pickup truck driven by a 45-year-old man was traveling in the opposite direction of traffic and collided head-on with an oncoming white sedan driven by a 24-year-old woman.

Paramedics rushed the woman to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the pickup truck, who was suspected to be intoxicated, was arrested and taken into custody. His charges remain unclear.

More information about the collision was not released.

The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating the crash.
