1 Killed in Austin Crash at Pearce Lane and FM 973
Austin, TX. - One person died and two others were injured in a two-vehicle crash on Saturday afternoon in Austin.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the accident occurred at Pearce Lane and FM 973 near Austin-Bergstrom International Airport at around 4:22 p.m.
Two vehicles were involved in the crash. The events leading up to the accident were not immediately determined.
Paramedics pronounced one person dead at the scene.
The victim was not immediately identified.
Two people were rushed to St. David’s South Austin, after one suffered serious injuries while the other sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
More details on the collision were not released.
