1 Injured in San Antonio Crash at West Woodlawn Avenue and Ripley Avenue
San Antonio, TX. - A 25-year-old man was injured in a high-speed crash on Wednesday afternoon in San Antonio.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the accident occurred at the intersection of West Woodlawn Avenue and Ripley Avenue at around 4:50 p.m.
The man was driving a car erratically at a high rate of speed when officers initiated a traffic stop. After a short pursuit, officers stopped the chase.
The man drove through a construction zone barricade, struck a parked vehicle and a pole.
Paramedics transported the man to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. He was later arrested and taken into custody, with his charges remaining unclear.

The San Antonio Police Department is investigating the crash.
