1 Killed in Houston Pedestrian Collision on Gessner Road near Westheimer Road
Houston, TX. - A woman died after being run over by a vehicle on Thursday afternoon in Houston.
According to the Houston Police Department, the fatal collision occurred on 2400 South Gessner Road near Westheimer Road at around 3:30 p.m.
Three people involved in a moving crew were assisting a woman in moving out of an apartment when a man and a woman on the crew argued and got into a box truck.
The woman fell out and was ran over by a car.
The unidentified woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
The third person involved in the moving crew stayed on the scene.
The driver of the car is suspected of intentionally running over the victim and was arrested and taken into custody.
More details about the collision were not immediately provided.
The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating the crash.
