Kilgore, TX – One person was killed Monday morning in a pedestrian accident in Kilgore, according to the Kilgore Police Department.

The deadly accident was reported around 8:07 a.m. on June 8 in the 700 block of State Highway 135.

Police said a white 2024 Ford pickup truck was traveling southbound when it left the roadway and struck a pedestrian at CB Tire Shop.

The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene. The identity of the victim has not been released.

Officers said the pickup truck driver had experienced a medical emergency before the accident happened.

No additional information was available.

The police are investigating the accident.
