11-Year-Old Hurt in Cypress E-Bike Accident on Misty Jade Lane

Cypress, TX – An 11-year-old was injured Saturday afternoon in an e-bike accident in Cypress, according to the Harris County Precinct 4 Constable's Office.

The accident happened on June 6 in the 18199 block of Misty Jade Lane.

Deputies said the child was riding an electric bike when they tried to pass a vehicle that was stopped at an intersection and collided head-on with an oncoming vehicle.

The juvenile was rushed to the hospital in an unknown condition.
