Kimberly Viator Killed in Port Arthur Pedestrian Accident on Gulfway Drive

Port Arthur, TX. - 64-year-old Kimberly Viator died after being struck by a vehicle earlier this month in Port Arthur.

According to the Port Arthur Police Department the fatal pedestrian accident occurred on Gulfway Drive at around 9:30 p.m. on Sunday 9.

Viator was walking across Gulfway Drive when she was struck by a vehicle operated by 45-year-old DeKobi LeRay Fisher. Fisher did not render aid but fled the scene.

Kimberly was rushed to The Medical Center of Southeast Texas where she later succumbed to her injuries.

On Thursday, August 27, Fisher was arrested and was charged with collision involving dead and was booked into the Jefferson County Jail.

More details on the accident were not available.

The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating the accident.
