Monae Pinkney Killed in Houston Pedestrian Accident on Westheimer Road

Houston, TX. - A 20-year-old woman died being struck by a vehicle on September 5th in Houston.

According to the Houston Police Department, the accident occurred in the 12900 block of Westheimer Road at around 11:50 p.m.

Monae Pinkney was attempting to cross the road when she was struck by a blue BMW X3 traveling westbound.

Pinkey was among a group of women who were crossing the road when the accident happened.

Pinkey was transported to the hospital, where she later died.

The BMW driver remained on the scene and cooperated with the police.

The investigators do not suspect intoxication as a factor.

An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
