1 Person Killed, 3 Injured in Deadly SH 130 Crash Involving SUV and Semi-Truck in Williamson County
Williamson County, TX – A semi-truck driver was killed and three occupants of an SUV, including two children, were injured following a two-vehicle crash Monday afternoon on State Highway 130 in Williamson County, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
The collision occurred at approximately 12:51 p.m. on Monday, June 29, 2026, at the intersection of SH 130 and Chandler Road.
Investigators said an Audi SUV attempted to make a left turn and collided with a semi-truck pulling a trailer. The impact caused the semi to leave the overpass and plunge onto the southbound main lanes of SH 130.
The semi-truck driver sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The name of the deceased driver has not been released.
The Audi was occupied by the driver and two children. All three were transported to a local hospital with unspecified injuries.
The southbound lanes of SH 130 remained closed for several hours as crews worked to investigate the crash and clear the scene.
The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating the crash.
