Steve Hardy ID’d as Man Hurt in Beaumont Pedestrian Crash at Fannett Drive and Cardinal Road

Beaumont, Texas (May 8, 2019) – The man who was injured when he was hit by a vehicle while trying to clear the scene of an earlier traffic accident in Beaumont Tuesday morning has been identified as Steve Hardy, according to a local news source.
According to the Beaumont Police Department, the incident occurred at about 6 a.m. May 7, at Fannett Drive and Cardinal Road.
The report said that Hardy, a Lumberton man, was picking up debris from the roadway when a vehicle hit him.
The victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a hospital for treatment.
