Woman Killed in Denton Pedestrian Accident at Interstate 35 and University Drive

Denton, Texas – A woman was killed Monday night in a pedestrian accident in Denton, according to the police.

The deadly accident happened around 6:35 p.m., February 12, on southbound Interstate 35 at University Drive.

Police said a woman was walking in the middle of a lane on the interstate when she was struck by a U-Haul rental truck.

The woman was killed in the crash. Her name has not been released.

The driver was injured in the crash. They remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.

The police are investigating the crash.
