1 Killed in Hit-and-Run Crash on Harry Hines Boulevard in Dallas

One Killed in Northwest Dallas Three-Vehicle Crash on Harry Hines Boulevard

Dallas, Texas (June 17, 2019) – A person was killed early Sunday morning in an alleged hit-and-run accident in Northwest Dallas, according to the police.

The deadly crash was reported just after 1:00 a.m. June 16, in the 11100 block of Harry Hines Boulevard.

Police said a Cadillac Escalade hit a pickup truck and a 2-door coupe from behind.

The coupe driver died at the scene. The victim’s identity has not been disclosed.

The pickup driver was uninjured in the crash.

Two people in the Escalade attempted to flee the scene but were detained by a witness. They were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The Escalade driver, a 19-year-old man, is awaiting intoxication manslaughter and intoxication assault charges.

The crash remains under investigation.
