Andrew Young ID’d as Man Killed in Plantersville Two-Vehicle Crash on Highway 105

Plantersville, Texas (August 23, 2019) – The man who was killed Thursday morning in a two-vehicle crash near Plantersville has been identified as Andrew Young, 27, of Waller, according to the troopers.

The fatal crash took place around 6:00 a.m. August 22, on Highway 105, east of County Road 204.

DPS said Young was driving a pickup truck when he attempted to pass a dump truck in a no-passing zone and while doing so he hit a westbound pickup truck.  

Young was declared dead at the scene. The driver of the other truck was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

An investigation is underway.
