2 Injured in Walker County Car Accident on FM 2296 near Phelps Community
Walker County, Texas (February 23, 2019) – Two people were hospitalized Friday morning after a traffic accident in Walker County, according to a local news source.
The wreck was reported just after 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 22 on FM 2296 near the Phelps Community.
Authorities said two vehicles collided on FM 2296.
Firefighters along with paramedics responded to the scene and extricated one person who was trapped inside their vehicle. The victim was then taken to Conroe Regional Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the pickup truck was also taken to the hospital with severe injuries.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the accident.
