2 Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash on FM 149 at FM 2562 in Grimes County

Two Hospitalized after Grimes County Two-Vehicle Crash on FM 2562 and FM 149

Grimes County, Texas (February 14, 2020) – Two people were injured in a two-vehicle crash Friday morning in Grimes County, authorities said.

The crash occurred around 6:00 a.m. at the intersection of FM 2562 and FM 149.

Authorities said a semi-truck was heading eastbound on FM 149, and a pickup truck was heading southbound on FM 2562.

The driver of the pickup failed to yield the right of way at the intersection and collided with the 18-wheeler.

The pickup driver was airlifted to a local hospital in an unknown condition.

The driver of the semi-truck was taken to a Bryan hospital for treatment.

The driver of the pickup was cited.

The crash remains under investigation.
