Woman Dies in San Antonio Pedestrian Crash on 38th Street and Enrique Barrera Highway

San Antonio, Texas (May 25, 2019) – Two trucks hit and killed a female pedestrian on the West Side Friday night, according to the San Antonio Police Department.
The crash happened at around 10:45 p.m. Friday, May 24, on 38th Street and Enrique Barrera Highway.
According to the police, a woman was attempting to cross the street when a black pickup truck making a turn onto Enrique Barrera Highway from 38th Street struck her.
The woman was subsequently struck by a white pickup truck that was traveling behind the first truck.
Police said the woman succumbed to her injuries while en-route to a hospital.
The two drivers remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.
An investigation into the incident is underway.
