Man Killed in Dallas Pedestrian Accident on Interstate 30 near St. Francis Avenue

Dallas, Texas (January 14, 2022) – A man was fatally hit by a vehicle early Thursday morning in Dallas, according to the deputies.

The deadly accident occurred around 3:20 a.m., January 13, on Interstate 30 near St. Francis Avenue.

Deputies said the man was attempting to cross the eastbound lanes of the interstate when he was struck by a white Dodge Charger.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.

The authorities looking into whether another vehicle hit the man before the Dodge Charger.

The accident closed the eastbound lanes and traffic was diverted to Jim Miller Road. The highway reopened about 7:00 a.m.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
