Jeremy Stone Killed in Pedestrian Crash on SH 103 at San Augustine-Nacogdoches County Line

Jeremy Stone Killed at San Augustine-Nacogdoches County Line Pedestrian Accident on State Highway 103

San Augustine, Texas (October 10, 2023) – A person was killed Friday night in a pedestrian accident at the San Augustine-Nacogdoches County line, according to the Texas DPS.

The deadly accident happened around 9:00 p.m., October 6, on Texas State Highway 103.

DPS said Jeremy Stone, 44, of Nacogdoches, was walking westbound alongside the outside traffic lane when he was struck by a westbound 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe SUV driven by Tara Lyons, 39, of Center.

Stone was killed in the crash.

Lyons was arrested and charged with Intoxication Manslaughter.

No other details were provided.

The troopers are investigating the crash.
