Deputy Injured in Harris County Two-Vehicle Crash on I-10 Katy Freeway near Highway 6

Harris County, Texas (June 13, 2021) – According to the deputies, a Harris County sheriff’s deputy was injured in a rear-end collision Sunday morning in west Harris County.

 The crash happened on I-10 Katy Freeway near Highway 6.

Deputies said the deputy’s cruiser was rear-ended by a vehicle driven by a possibly intoxicated driver.

The deputy was taken to the hospital in an unknown condition.

No further details were provided.

The crash remains under investigation.
