One Killed in Dallas Pedestrian Accident on LBJ Freeway at Greenville Avenue

Dallas, Texas (August 25, 2023) – One person was killed early Thursday morning in a pedestrian accident in Far Northeast Dallas, according to a local news source.

The deadly accident happened around 1:00 a.m., August 24, on the LBJ Freeway at Greenville Avenue.

According to the report, the pedestrian was struck by an 18-wheeler in the eastbound lanes.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. Their name has not been released.

The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.

The crash closed the eastbound lanes of the freeway at the High Five for nearly five hours.

An investigation is underway.
