Deputy T. James Injured in Wharton County Pedestrian Accident on U.S. Highway

Wharton County, Texas (September 9, 2019) – A Fort Bend County deputy was hit by a vehicle Monday morning in Wharton County, officials said.

The accident happened on U.S. Highway 59.

Officials said Deputy T. James was on his way to work when he stopped to check on a crash on the highway. He was then hit by a car.

Deputy T. James was taken to a hospital with minor injuries.
