Victor Hunter Killed in NE Austin Pedestrian Accident on FM 969

Austin, Texas (July 10, 2023) – According to the police, a man in a motorized wheelchair was fatally hit by a vehicle on June 26 in Northeast Austin.

The deadly accident happened around 1:23 p.m., in the 6600 block of FM 969 Road.

Police said 62-year-old Victor Hunter was in a motorized wheelchair when he was struck by a pickup truck.

Hunter was taken to a local hospital, where he later died.

The truck driver remained at the scene and was not impaired.

No other details were provided.

The police are investigating the crash.
