Darrin Hubbard, Sherry Baxter Hospitalized after Multi-Vehicle Crash on U.S. 96 in Jasper County

Darrin Hubbard and Sherry Baxter Injured in Jasper County Crash on U.S. 96 near Roganville Road
Jasper County, Texas (January 12, 2019) – Two people were hospitalized last week Thursday following a multi-car crash in Jasper County, authorities said.
The crash involving an 18-wheeler was reported at about 7:00 p.m. Thursday, January 3 on U.S. 96, just west of Roganville Road.
According to the authorities, a Nissan Versa and an 18-wheeler were both heading northbound on U.S. 96 when for an unknown reason the Nissan slammed into the 18-wheeler. The Nissan then drifted into oncoming lanes, where it collided with a Dodge car.
Darrin Hubbard, 30, who was the driver of the Nissan, sustained non-life threatening injuries and was taken to a hospital. The driver of the Dodge, Sherry Baxter, 56, was also taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Authorities are investigating the accident.
