Man Critically Injured in Dallas Pedestrian Accident on Forest Lane; Christian Gutierrez Arrested

Dallas, Texas (July 31, 2022) – According to the police, a pedestrian was critically injured early Friday morning in a hit-and-run accident in Dallas.

The accident happened just after 12:30 a.m., July 29, in the 9700 block of Forest Lane.

Police said the man was crossing the road from the northbound to the southbound side, outside of a crosswalk, when he was struck by a four-door silver Chevy.

The man was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

The driver of the Chevy, Christian Gutierrez, 30, fled the scene after the accident but was later arrested and has been charged with accident involving serious bodily injury.

The police are investigating the crash.
