Denton Police Officer Injured in Denton Car Crash near W. McKinney Street and North Elm Street

Denton, Texas (December 8, 2019) – A Denton police officer was injured early Saturday morning in a suspected DUI Crash in Denton, according to the authorities.

The crash occurred around 3:30 a.m. December 7, near the intersection of W. McKinney Street and North Elm Street.

Authorities said the officer’s car was struck by another vehicle driven by a 31-year-old man.

The officer sustained minor injuries in the crash.

The 31-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of DWI.

The crash remains under investigation.
