1 Hospitalized after San Angelo Four-Vehicle Crash at Sherwood Way and Oxford
San Angelo, Texas (February 8, 2020) – One person was injured in a chain-reaction crash Friday evening at a San Angelo intersection, according to the police.
The crash happened around 5:00 p.m. on February 7, at the intersection of Sherwood Way and Oxford.
Police said a blue four-door sedan was heading eastbound on Sherwood Way when the driver failed to control her speed and rear-ended a red Chevy Impala. The impact pushed the Impala into the rear of a Ford Fusion, which then rear-ended a Honda CRV, which was stopped at a red light at the intersection.
One person in the Honda was taken to Shannon Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the sedan was cited for failure to control speed.
The crash remains under investigation.
We hope the injured victim recovers quickly.
“When a person has suffered a personal injury in an accident due to someone else’s negligence, the most overwhelming emotion they feel is a sense of injustice. They often ask how such a life-altering event could have happened to them,” attorney Joel A. Gordon said. “The next question usually is, who can help me?” Mr. Gordon added.
A legal advocate can represent an injury victim. The attorney will file a claim on behalf of the victim and will have the responsibility of citing existing codes, laws or statues which were violated.
